Invite your clients to your in-house training programs especially when you know the topics will help them in their business activity, such as Negotiation, Customer Service etc. By giving them opportunities to improve, you also show them your genuine interest in helping them build their business too. (Ref: David Ulrich –AHRI Conference Melbourne, Aug 2015).

Where possible invite staff to present to clients on your behalf if they are passionate about the topic and area. Making way for others to shine creates a pipeline for talent to grow.

Rotate Chairman every meeting with different people having responsibility to Open and Close the meetings as well.

Prepare your audience ahead of time with key ideas or reading with the responsibility of coming prepared to participate in a meeting. Let them know you will be calling on them for commentary and suggestions.

When you are in a hurry to source information or a person, use TWITTER as well as LINKEDIN and Facebook. It adds another dimension and is often faster.
