If I see one more Vision or Mission statement on a company wall at reception I think I will scream. No, not because I think they are of no value but I will scream it out to the employees who don’t even know what’s written on them despite walking past them for years. It’s time someone told them!
Yet, nobody cares about Vision Statements. But everyone does care about the vision they have for their career, their future and their progress. When companies stop thinking about their own vision in isolation and integrating it into the vision of their employees, the natural synergy will reverberate through to the customer.
